About

Darrell Bailey specializes in online teaching and learning, particularly in areas of global music, social networking tools, and integrated learning. This practice helped to uniquely prepare the Music and Arts Technology department for the challenges of pandemic music education. He is an advocate of the live music performance experience as a core experience in the lives of musicians and non-musicians alike. 

His areas of expertise include advancing music teaching through global social networking, captioning video and audio of music performances, curriculum development in music and new media, organ construction and renovation, and  organ/piano performance choral conducting. His interests include 3-D augmented reality in music learning, music of world cultures, computing in film music composing, and music in societal awareness of environmental issues.
