About

Michael McReynolds is an audio engineer, DJ, and creative professional based in Indianapolis. He began exploring music production and audio in 2011, teaching himself the essentials of songwriting and audio engineering in Ableton Live. During his time at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, he was able to hone his abilities as a studio engineer while also establishing himself as a strong solo performer in the Bloomington music scene.

He joined the Music & Arts Technology program in 2024 as an adjunct instructor specializing in electronic music production and performance. Outside of his work as an educator, he organizes workshops and events for the Indianapolis Ableton User Group, and takes on work as a mixing and mastering engineer. He also performs under his alias "Sweater Disco," and has appeared on lineups with notable DJs such as Chris Lake, Mark Farina, Todd Terry, Tchami, and Chuck Sutton.
