About

Moldover is a professional musician, artist, and inventor of musical instruments. He is well known for coining the term "controllerism" and supporting its adoption with a diverse body of work including live performances, eclectic compositions, educational videos, and the creation of totally new kinds of electronic instruments. As an innovator, educator, and lover of all things creative, it is his goal to share inspiration and to bridge the gap between traditional musicianship and modern music cultures.

As a performer, Moldover has appeared at international music festivals such as Sonar, Mutek, and Coachella, and is a frequent guest speaker at schools including NYU, Stanford, and MIT. His projects include collaborations with renowned artists DJ Shadow, Mickey Hart, and Will-i-am. He has developed new designs with leading music tech companies such as Ableton, Yaeltex, and Native Instruments. His multiplayer instruments (jamboxes) are featured at clubs, conferences, and festivals, as well as being installed at museum exhibits across North America including Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, The Museum of Making Music, and The Tech Interactive Museum.
