David Morrison joined the Herron School of Art and Design faculty in 1985 and was appointed to the printmaking faculty in 1987. His work is represented in more than 25 museum and university collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, to name a few. Morrison has received more than 50 awards for his work, most recently the Vernon and Marie Fish Purchase Award from the 5th National Print Competition and Exhibition at California State University. He retired in January, 2020.
