Individual development

My teaching philosophy is directly related my respect for individuality and the belief that education should be a student-centered learning experience. Students deserve and have a right to education that focuses on increasing their creativity and allows them to take risks.

In my classroom, students will have the ability to think in a way that encourages individualism and their own inherent uniqueness. No two students are the same, so why would they be expected to learn the same way?

By teaching art, I am not only teaching the skills of drawing or painting, but also how to think and solve problems. My goal is not to create future artists, but to shape future individuals who can think for themselves and make a meaningful and creative contribution to the world.
